Points of Interest

Points of Interest (or POIs) are randomly spawned nodes on the Overworld map outside of settlements. These nodes may consist of plants, animals, resources, friendly or hostile NPCs, or storytelling elements. All POIs can be tracked with the [Tracking] skill, representing you seeing them on the horizon.

The types POIs in an area are determined by the Region in which they are located, with more valuable POIs with stronger NPCs being more plentiful as you venture into more distant and dangerous areas.

POIs are deleted upon the start of [Storms], and completely refreshed and respawned when they end.
