Disguise and Concealment

For various reasons, players may want to disguise or conceal themselves.

Disguise

Disguise is straightforward, in that it is how your character looks to observing players on the paperdoll, and how you describe yourself in your description accessible from your Codex. Prestidigitation allows for the use of Disguise Kits that may further alter your appearance. Your character sees other player's general appearance (clothes, as well as visible gender, hair, and skin color) as they appear on their paperdoll, even when concealed.

Concealment

Players may use the Conceal Ability (or the [conceal command) at any time to conceal their appearance, using the selected Description from the Codex. Various skills make you better at disguising certain aspects of yourself, and players with the Forensics skill may see through them through an opposed skill check. Concealment is not a perfect disguise, and players are under no obligation to act is if someone's identity is anonymous if their combination of concealment and disguise does nothing to actually hide who they are.
